Abandoned
This is an abandoned building. Its walls are not safe anymore. Looters has already scavenged the inside. Reminds me of families abandoned by its foundation: the parents. A broken family may decay soon producing unloved people who loves to hate. Just like an abandoned building, an abandoned family may not be safe, susceptible to looting and is not worth living with. Not unless the Love of Christ is there. We are lucky for we have a loving God, for he will not abandon us.

Bundled
As days pass by, my small group of swimmers started to bundle together. They swim together, they eat together, they learn together and they grow together. It is pleasing unto my eyes to watch them form strong bond with each other as team silencer.

SHRINE for HEROES

Today is National Heroes day and coinciding with our IECEP General Conference held at Abucay, Bataan. We have decided to visit the Heroes Shrine at Mt. Samat to remind my students of our heroes sacrifices. We took a lot of pictures and everyone went home very happy. This one is a diamond-shaped chandelier hanging inside the shrine viewed from below.

Snail
While doing some home teaching this morning, i spotted this snail up in the Banana tree. I wonder how did it took for it to climb up there but its position is better and it is safer there. Can we exert similar effort to stay out of harm's way?

A Beautiful Photo
Today is one of the very happiest day of my life: My Mother's baptism. She was baptized by our youngest brother Ralph. This is also one of the most beautiful in the eyes of this wanderer.

Here is my home city CABANATUAN! The tricycle capital of the Philippines. This one is taken at Green Land Leisure Suites, white tricycles awaiting the Legalization Stickers.

Cut out
I saw Niko cutting the Philippine Map for air spray and played it for a while. Then let some light pass through casting the Philippine Archipelago in its shadows.

Pulpit
Today, small miracles happened in this pulpit. This very place has always been a very special place in perfecting the saints and bearing testimonies.

Window From a Happy Home
"Have you received HIS image in your countenance? Does the light of Christ shine in your eyes?"
This home is not rich, they don't have much and they struggle in the day to day living. But this home is a happy home. A house where love and respect is being cultivated. When the night comes, each and every member of the family is at home. Their house is not beautiful but their home is. Here is a window with blue curtain causing some soft bluish lights to emanate from the inside.

Carabaos
They are the symbol of strength and perseverance among Pinoys. We spotted them today within the Military reserve areas of western Nueva Ecija

Ordinary
I cant go out today. I had some bad sleep last night. This one is what i always see when coming out from the office. Sometimes, we got used at beautiful things and take them for granted. A UP professor this one is beautiful and i looked, this one has been always around me... :)

Sunset Over Talipapa

Despite the clouds, i was able to capture the piece of the sun setting in the west over Talipapa. The view is as beautiful as the other sunsets: like paintings in the sky.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully---2 Corinthians 9:6
I woke up early to capture the sunrise over the pampanga river but instead, i saw a group of farmers sowing rice seedlings. I removed my slippers as if the ground is sacred, dipped my feet on the muddy waters of the farm and took some pictures. Those sowing reminds me that if we are really decided to achieve our dreams, we must start sowing actions today so that someday we can reap our dreams.

Pussycat at Green Lanes
While waiting for the team members to arrive, i saw this lonely cat staying close nearby for some food left-overs. I approached and it seems that this one is meek and never minds my digicam.

Brownout
Thanks to the laptop batteries, we can still work while there is power failure. In as much as our laptops has the ability to hold on for a while while we wait for the power to return, our leaders keep on telling us to be similarly ready: to survive at most in 72 hours when calamity strikes, enough time to allow the rescue missions to reach us.

Unidentified
While we are in the middle of conversation about the animal that will represent our college in the coming sports fest, i saw this two birds flying and i quickly grabbed my lowly digicam and pointed at the sky. Lucky i got this two silhouettes of birds flying side by side. I could not identify them. I got an inspiration to do well in the coming competition: Soar high my students and get identified!

Dragon Fruit

By their fruits ye shall know them...
Have you seen this weird looking fruit in the market? They are called dragon fruit. It is an exotic fruit from a cactus. Full of nutrients and other undiscovered potentials, this one is rare and expensive. Sir David Parong grows them and he occasionally gives samples to his co-workers at school. I got my free sample today.

A rich man is nothing but a poor man with money
Another of my street shots. This one is taken from Freedom Park. I noticed this man picking up discarded plastic cups and bottle. Reluctant to directly shoot him, i waited for him to turn his back and i carefully followed his footsteps and bang! There things that might be useless for us but is useful to others. Maybe our trash are someone's dream.

Kapitan Pepe Creek
Kapitan Pepe Subdivision was once an agricultural farmland. This creek is used to be an irrigation canal to water the crops. Now Kapitan Pepe is a residential area, occasionally flooded so that this creek is transformed into a drainage to channel flood waters.

Rock and Stones
Today is a rock! Despite the absences of our students, i felt very tired and sick today. We had three seminars today, the stressful BCS session plus my flu. I could sleep all day.

Glowing Snakes
Click for a larger view |
A swarm of luminous snakes on the road? No. Im experimenting on creating light trails using the lights of passing vehicles. This one is taken while on the Maharlika Hiway on my way home. As the title suggest, they are like a group of crawling light snakes formed from my shaky tricycle ride. I believe such photos cannot be repeated or replaced. Each time i will take another, it will never be the same. Such as our lives, we are all human but we never be really the same as others.

Sharp
Click for a Larger View |
Sometimes, words can be more sharp and would hurt more than knives can do. I know this to be true. Some of my beloved students are careless enough in throwing sharp words at each other, resulting in years of resentment and hatred. We must be careful in throwing those sharp words, they hurt more than knives could ever do.

Couple

If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. … It becomes special because you have made it so.
Each time i look at our wedding album, i cannot help but smile. Truly being with someone you love gives you so much happiness not available to anyone. Marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children.” When a man and woman are married in the temple, their family can be together forever. I saw these cute maya birds playing by the twigs. They reminded me of my eternal relationship with my Mary Jane. I know the limitation of this digicam but nevertheless i tried my best shot. This is my 65th photo.
